Three different Single Corner Manhole Rails have been designed for the replacement of contaminated soil. Regardless of whether old landfill sites or old patrol stations have to be modernized, special attention must be paid to ensure that contaminated soil does not get mixed up with new refill material.
Depending on the size of the area which needs to be restructured, one or even more Single Corner Manhole Rails can be installed behind each other, or in all directions.
During the installation of the first module, the contaminated soil is excavated, removed and new material is backfilled before the next module is positioned. Therefore, and in order to avoid contamination only SINGLE Corner Manhole Rails can be used, thus only one base and one top extension plate is possible. We recommend a maximum installation depth of ~4.00 m.
The slide rail plates used are identical in all our Slide Rail Systems. The Corner Manhole Rails have rectangular arranged track guidance for the insertion of the slide rail shoring plates. The plates are equipped with special T-shaped side adapters to slide into the rail, ensuring a positive connection.
The difference between the three Single Corner Manhole Rails available is the number of rectangular tracks. They are either corner, t-shaped or plus (+) shaped (see graphic below) and are used depending on site requirements.
